I’m Jaeda and I have been natural for 3 yrs. Although, I just learned within the last 3 months how to care for my natural hair. I have had a perm as long as I could remember. In fact, I didnt know my hair was curly until I saw baby pics and I gave birth to two kids with 3b hair. I didnt realize I was transitioning, because I wasn’t familar with the natural community. I just stopped using relaxers. One day in between weaves (I wore my natural hair in weaves and wigs for most of my 3 years) I washed my hair and this is what I saw:

Beautiful 4a hair and it changed my life. Tight coils that warmed my heart. I knew then I would never relax my hair again. Now 3 years later I feel so beautiful and free as a natural beauty. It has inspired me to eat healthy and take better care of myself.
