Hi Everyone! Thank you for visiting my site!

I want you all to know a little more about who I am! I grew up in the Germantown area of Philadelphia moved to Jersey and then back to Philly during my middle school- high school years. I’ve always loved the performing arts so after high school I decided to take up theater and dance at West Chester University. I used to sing all the time when I was younger but since I absolutely loved movies and the power that the actor has on screen, I decided to take up acting instead. While in school I realized that I really missed singing so I applied to change my major to Musical Theater which was a great decision. I also had a dance minor so it was arts galore and I loved almost every second of it! lol I had my mind set on being a famous movie star and impressing my teachers with my newly learned dance skills. I had just learned to dance in college so I wasn’t as advanced as most of the girls at my school but with hard work and determination I finally started making it into dance concerts! I did a couple of ensemble musical theater performances and the only acting I got into was assignments we had to do for class. The problem with the shows picked every year was that none of them had black roles. The roles were originally made for a white actor so I really didn’t connect with the character I sometimes auditioned for. So I pretty much got all the training I could get, graduated and auditioned for a couple roles after college. After doing a couple auditions I realized that I didn’t want to work for other people nor did I like being judged or picked for certain shows. I decided to go after something I had never been taught~ Paving my own way, and creating my own job! wanted to work for myself. Now I met my boyfriend Mark back in 2006 during rehearsals for a fashion show ( I also model for fun on the side sometimes) We were in line practicing our walk and he started talking to me mentioning that he was a rapper and I told him I sing so we set up a time to make music together. Back then I didn’t like him in that way. lol We were just friends and over the years we became closer friends but still just friends. So over the summer of 2008 we found our selves living like a block away from each other. So we decided to hang out and watch movies together. Well during that time I began to see him in a different way. I could see how wonderful he was as a person and the rest was history!! lol Well the way this ties in with working for myself was our decision to create a production company where we’d write and produce short films as well as offer production services. I’m a self taught web/graphic designer! I have experience using Photoshop and Dreamweaver so I offer those services to my clients while he does videography and photography. Right now we are working for ourselves part-time and also working our regular jobs part time but eventually as we get more clients we will be able to be fully self employed. So that is my current goal but my ultimate goal is to make money passively so that we can enjoy life more and physically work less! Wouldn’t it be wonderful to make money while you sleep? Of course!! So that’s where we’re headed in the next year! I’ll be sure to share this journey with you guys every month. Thanks for taking the time to get to know a little more about me!!
